PGCAR ANNUAL AWARDS COMPETITION . . . This year's Awards Competition will be even bigger than before. A large number of members submitted entries this year and Awards will be presented at the Annual Awards Luncheon, which will be held on Thursday, April 14th at the La Fontaine Bleu at 11:30 a.m. Make your reservations early. ANNUAL RPAC FUNDRAISER TO BE HELD ON APRIL 19th. . . The RPAC Committee has planned a Country/Western Party for this year's fundraiser; so get out your favorite pair of jeans and boots and plan now to attend. There will be Country/Western Karaoke, line dancing, Texas Hold 'Em Poker and a Silent Auction. Tickets will be $35 each OR 3 for $100. The fundraiser will be held at the La Fontaine Bleu and will prove to be a fun-filled evening. Don't miss out on the fun. Mark your calendar today for April 19th and watch for more information coming soon.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR ANNUAL REALTOR® EXPO AND TRADE SHOW. . . The PGCAR REALTOR® Expo and Trade Show will be held on May 19th at Colony South on Branch Avenue (Route 5) in Clinton. This year's event will have more classes for you to attend and more exhibitors than in previous years. Be sure to mark your calendar for May 19th so that you won't miss this exciting event. More information will be available as the Education Committee finalizes the plans.

HAVE YOU SENT IN YOUR TAX DEDUCTIBLE CONTRIBUTION???. . . Prince George's County Association of REALTORS® and Habitat for Humanity have joined forces to make a family's dream of home ownership a reality. Together, we're building a home in the 6700 block of Ingraham Street in Riverdale. There are two ways for you to participate: Make a tax-deductible contribution to this joint venture and/or volunteer to be a part of the actual build. Construction will be scheduled as soon as we raise our portion of the funds and building permits are finalized. Please send your contribution to the Association today. Checks should be made payable to PARTNERSHIP FOR HOUSING. Thank you for your generosity.

ANNUAL DUES MUST HAVE BEEN PAID BY DECEMBER 31st TO AVOID MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSION . . . All dues payments for 2005 should have been made. If you have not submitted your dues payment, a $100 reinstatement fee is now due and your membership has been suspended. Suspension means that all Association services have been discontinued, including key services.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES . . . There is still space available in the following classes:

February 14th - MD 6 Hour Required Course consisting of MD Legislative Update (3 hrs), MD Legal Update (1.5 hrs) and MD Fair Housing (1.5 hrs)
Instructor - Don Martin. 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Association Office.
Space is available for approximately 45 students. NO WALK-INS

February 18th - Contracts
Instructor - Stu Stern. 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Association Office.
3.0 hours of MD and DC Continuing Education Credit.
Space is available for approximately 45 students. NO WALK-INS

February 19th - Ethics
Instructor - Al Monshower. 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. La Fontaine Bleu.
3.0 hours of MD and DC Continuing Education Credit.

February 22nd - What Every Agent Should Know About Mortgages, Credit Scoring, e-Loans and the Loan Approval Process
Instructor - Michael Chelst. 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Association Office.
3.0 hours of MD and DC Continuing Education Credit.

All classes held at the Association Office are limited to the first 45 registrants. NO WALK-INS.
Registration fee for REALTORS® is $25 for 3 hours of credit. The 6 hour class on February 14th is $50. A $15 late fee is charged if reservations are made less than 3 days prior to any class.
