PGCAR Announces New Government Affairs Director
The PGCAR Board of Directors is pleased to announce the hiring of Dwayne Mingo as Director of Government Affairs.
Dwayne will be responsible for managing and monitoring legislative activity related to county, municipal, state and federal government. Additionally, Dwayne will manage public affairs and will work closely with the Board of Directors, Legislative Committee and the Executive Vice President in directing the Association's public policy agenda.
Prior to accepting the position as Government Affairs Director, Dwayne worked as the Chief of Staff / Legislative Aide for Prince George's County Council Member Karen R. Toles, District 7, where he managed the legislative agenda and worked closely with government officials and the public. Dwayne has also served as the Legislative Liaison and Executive Assistant under the Administration of the former County Executive.
During Dwayne's tenure with the Prince George's County Council, the Office of the County Executive, the Department of Legislative Services, the Maryland General Assembly, and the American Red Cross, he has built strong working relationships with elected officials and government representatives.
Dwayne has dedicated his professional career to public service and exemplifies leadership and a commitment to public service and to the County.

Dwayne assumed his new role on February 8th.
