County Executive Addresses REALTORS®
Over 100 REALTORS®
attended the PGCAR Legislative Breakfast on November 8th
held at Martin's Crosswinds in Greenbelt. The event, organized by the Association's Legislative Committee under the supervision of Chair, Carlos Lancaster, was another huge success.
in attendance were excited to hear from Senate President Mike Miller, Jr., House Delegation Vice Chair Geraldine Valentino-Smith, and County Council Member Todd Turner. The keynote address was delivered by County Executive Rushern Baker.
All in attendance were excited to learn about the incredible opportunities and growth Prince George's County is experiencing. With housing prices rising, the anticipated construction of a new Regional Medical Center, acquisition of a new federal tenant, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) headquarters, and the relocation of the County Administration Building from Upper Marlboro to its new location in Largo, Prince George's County is poised to be recognized nationally as a model for economic growth and development.
Many of our Prince George's County Senators, Delegates and County Council officials attended this year's event and enjoyed the opportunity to interact and network throughout the morning.
