PGCAR Holiday Charity Celebration

The Prince George's County Association of REALTORS^® (PGCAR), the leading advocate for real estate and private property rights in the County, proudly hosted its annual holiday charity event on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at The Grove at Oak Creek. Representing nearly 3,500 real estate professionals, PGCAR celebrated another successful year by raising over $3,000 to support the Prince George's County Public Safety Assistance Program (PSAP) holiday food drive.

REALTORS^® recognize the challenges many face during the holidays, particularly in today's economic climate. "We're truly honored to support those in need this holiday season through our partnership with PSAP," said Shameeka Price, Chair of PGCAR's Community Service Committee. REALTORS^® understand the importance of giving back, recognizing that many in the community face challenges during the holidays."

Proceeds from the event funded the purchase and distribution of complete holiday food baskets, delivered in time to brighten the holidays for local families.

President Arnita Greene added, "This event was filled with joy and unity, as PGCAR members came together to make a profound impact, giving back to their communities and lending a helping hand to those who need it most."
