This class is designed for Realtors seeking to increase transactions, referrals and income in commercial real estate (CRE) leasing and investment sales. Students will learn the different types of CRE transactions, how to find and underwrite CRE investment properties, and gain detailed instructions on CRE investment calculations (CAP rate, Cash on Cash, IRR, etc.). This course will also cover the fundamental details of brokering a CRE lease, best practices on representing tenants and landlords, and how to do prepare a market analysis on CRE properties. The final portion of the course involves learning effective strategies to grow your CRE database, crafting a CRE business plan and finding your niche and taking your business to the next level.
